RURAL TALENT COMPETITION @ GOVT HIGH SCHOOL, NAGAVALLI VILLAGE
 
To encourage Rural students, Rotary Bangalore south with Rotary tumkur, city, central, east organized “Gramina prathibha spardegalu” Rural Talent competitions at Govt. high School, Nagavalli, Tumkur tq. On 31st July 2014.
 
About 250 students participated in Spot Drawing / Painting, Debate and Essay writing competitions from 12 schools.  Every Rotary 22 volunteer from all five clubs enjoyed the each session getting involved and talking to students.

About 250 students participated in Spot Drawing / Painting, Debate and Essay writing competitions from 12 schools.  Every Rotary 22 volunteer from all five clubs enjoyed the each session getting involved and talking to students.
 
The competition was for three category and four topics Ethics, Nature, Girl Child Education & Pollution-Clean environment.  Students really came with well prepared talks and essay.  Every drawing/paintings done was giving clear message to the society on their view and future plans.
 
Rotary Presidents Rtn.BR Sridhar, Rtn.Sagar, Rtn.Dhananjaya, Rtn.Chandrashekar, Rtn.Herematt Distributed 2000 Note books, Dictionaries, Certificates to participants
  • For best performed students in previous year got recognized with school bags as gifts. 
  • 10th std exam students 90%+ scored students got cash reward.
  • 25 Winners of each competition and category received the trophy and certificates.
 
Rtn.Vasuprasad spoke & demonstrated the need of meditation to the student’s studies & life.
This is the third successive year Rtn.Jayachandra Aradhya from Rotary Bangalore South coordinating program in this school and distributing note books to the students.
 
PP Rtn.Gangadhar shasthry, Mr.Chennabasava Aradhya of Athithi matt trust coordinated the program locally.  PP Rtn.Vishwanath, Rtn.Gangadharappa, Rtn.Venugopal, Rtn.Arun from Bangalore South were present along with Rtns from other clubs to make program successful one.
 
We thank Govt High School Principal & Mr.BV Gundappa coordinator with all Staff for the timely managed, disciplined event & Food Arrangement.
